Become a Caregiver with Comfort Keepers and join our growing team comprised of great individuals who dedicate their time to providing companionship, personal care, and other health care services for seniors in our San Diego County community.
Caregiver Job Responsibilities:
- Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. Provide any financial aid if needed such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank or helping the client to pay their bills.
- Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
Caregiver Job Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Previous experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or home care environment (preferred)
- Minimum of one year of professional experience as a caregiver, CNA or HHA (preferred)
- Open availability (preferred)
- Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record and Pre-Employment Drug Screening
