Position: IT Manager
Reporting to: Head of Store Operations & Special Projects
Overview:
The IT Manager will be a key member of the organization and manage all IT functions and support. This person will partner cross-functionally with various teams within the organization, as well as outside the organization to achieve company goals and objectives.
Key Objectives:
•Leads and administrates all aspects of IT within Comme des Garcons, Dover Street Market New York and Dover Street Market Los Angeles
•Focusing on IT special projects to deliver business value through application development and enhancements
•Identify areas of process improvement, build in efficiencies, and execute change
•Deliver business value through proposing new IT solutions, application development and system enhancements.
•Ensure that IT policies and procedures are enforced, effectively implemented, and maintained to achieve organizational consistency and efficiency across all parts of the business
•Partner with departments and establish relationships to provide information to help make strong, informed business decisions.
•Provide helpdesk support to user on an on-need basis
Key Responsibilities:
•Accountable for the configuration, implementation, maintenance and support for all IT functions, hardware and software used by the company
•Manages and oversees all IT projects including mapping out each step/phase of the project
•Conduct analysis of the business functions and develop appropriate business intelligence reporting to provide key insights to leadership – this should include consistent metrics and analytics across business channels with the ability to update in near real time
•Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of all equipment, hardware, and programs
•Assists IT consultants with helpdesk items such as account setup and maintenance, hardware/equipment setup/installation, and deadlines for any projects within the organization regarding IT
•Serve as the secondary contact for desktop support, POS support for retail locations, and all 3rd party service providers for any IT and POS support and administration
•Coordinate the preparation, configuration and staging of all software, systems, accounts, and hardware (POS, timeclocks, email, phone, security, etc.) for all retail locations and the office
•Accountable for maintaining accurate record of purchases made within the retail locations and corporate office
•Develop technical requirements, outlines, and schedules for special projects within the organization
•Maintain all relationships for all outside vendors and resources for IT, phone, data services, and video surveillance for both the corporate office and retail locations
KPI’s/Deliverables:
•Well functioning and efficient IT systems
•Strong IT administration and enhancement of policies and procedures.
•Strategic planning and project management through a critical path and action plan
•Maintain cost containment and reduction opportunities across relevant areas of the business
•Clear communication across all cross-functional departments
Skills:
•4-5 years’ experience within a similar function
•1-2 years’ experience in IT project management is a must
•Excellent knowledge, skills, and abilities in managing special projects and coordinating multiple vendors and systems.
•Experience with Shopify and WMS systems is a must
•Knowledge of integration with a 3PL preferred
•Knowledge of inventory management in POS systems is a must; Retail Pro 9 preferred
•Ability to oversee vendors/partners/contractors
•Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with all aspects of the business
