About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support Wholesale and Retail Lockbox Remittance Processing Services. This includes providing expedited collection and processing of many types of B2B payments for our customers and offering electronic documentation of payments and remittance documents.
Essential Functions
Meet department production & quality goals while working independently
Sort mail using OPEX mail sorting equipment
Hand sort accounts by box while meeting department production & quality standards
Fully operate, clean and maintain all mail equipment
Contact service on mail equipment if need occurs
Cross-train and deliver results in other areas of the department as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Schedule
Sunday Thursday, 9 : 30pm-6 : 00am on-site in downtown Kansas City, MO
All 3rd Shift employees receive a 15% shift differential
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
Manual Dexterity and eye-hand coordination
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours and repetitive hand movement
10 Key by Touch (preferred)
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic ability to navigate computer systems effectively
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

This compensation range is for the Remittance Processor I job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $15.00 to $15.50. The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for the following employment benefits : employer sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, paid vacation, and paid personal time.
