Recovery Coach
Position Overview/Summary:
Needed: Recovery Coach to support the recovery community in Lincoln County. Recovery Coaches provide support to individuals impacted by substance use. A person serving in the role of Recovery Coach offers non-directive support for setting goals, facilitating access to resources to achieve those goals, and supporting the recoveree with navigating barriers along the way. The Recovery Coach is part of a small, dynamic team that serves Lincoln County through services offered at the Lincoln County Recovery Community Center in Newcastle.
Role Requirements
CCAR Recovery Coach Academy Completion (completed within 3 months of hire)
A core belief in the reality that there are many roads to recovery.
Reliability, dependability, and accountability.
Energy and motivation to proactively connect with recoverees and other community members and partners, and to initiate and build dynamic and meaningful relationships.
Ability and willingness to facilitate or co-facilitate support groups and meetings.
A commitment to timely and accurate documentation.
Ethical, professional, and conscientious engagement in all aspects of the role.
A demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Engaged in a personal growth process.
Driver’s license or ability to navigate the service area in fulfillment of core roll functions.
Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
