Floor Tech - Environmental Services

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Tech to join our team. The Floor Tech will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors the hospital, and offices. Maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks which involve operating heavy-duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment.
- Perform floor maintenance tasks such as weeping, mopping, and buffing floors.
- Strip and wax floors as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques to ensure floors are clean, sanitized, and free from debris.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Maintain equipment and supplies necessary for job performance.
- Maintain open communication with team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Report any issues or concerns to management promptly.
- One-year floor care experience or more in Healthcare or Nursing Home.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions.
- able to read and write use simple arithmetic.
- keep simple records or use simple office machines.
- Fire Safety Care (90 days from start date)
