Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the lead nurse the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the physicians and other members of the healthcare team with implementation of wound treatment plans. The incumbent will perform follow up nursing assessment of patient's conditions and report findings as appropriate. In addition the incumbent will function as an intake/discharge nurse during clinic times.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year recent outpatient experience in a medical environment required
- Current California LVN license
- Current BLS (must be through the American Heart Association)
- Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Wound Care experience preferred
