Commonwealth Construction & Utilities is seeking a self motivated individual to fill our open Shop Hand position Monday- Friday.

Commonwealth Construction & Utilities, Inc. is a full service excavation and utility contractor, based out of Chelmsford, MA (originally Watertown).

The ideal candidate would help at the shop with cleaning, organizing, and running errands such as picking up parts for our mechanics.

Some important basic skills required for the position:

  • Drivers License is required
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 or more lbs
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Good punctuality and attendance
  • OSHA a plus but not required
  • Must take a pre-employment drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
