The duties of an Accounting Intern include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the precise recording of transactions in the general ledger, keeping outages to a minimum.
- Meeting or exceeding expectations in performing work assignments and handling workload effectively.
- Engaging with other departments with related functions to the Accounting Department, such as Data Analytics and Finance to build a foundational understanding of credit union financials.
- Independently investigating issues, such as general ledger outages and devising appropriate solutions.
- Assisting with administrative duties, such as arranging meetings, managing files, or interacting with internal departments.
