General Butler State Resort Park, located in the heart of the Bluegrass, in Carrollton, KY, provides all the peace and tranquility of the country while only minutes from the city. General Butler offers guests a 53-room lodge, 23 cottages, 111-site campground, restaurant, mini golf, boat dock, shelters, trails, the historic Butler-Turpin House, a conference center, and playgrounds.

We are looking for detail oriented, self-motivated team player, who will jump on board with our goals of providing pleasant and memorable experiences for all our guests. Park Worker I – Housekeeping is a vital team member in our operation and is responsible for helping to make our park shine, and make our guests comfortable by creating a clean, healthy, and safe environment at the park. Team members in our Housekeeping department perform a variety of housekeeping duties in maintaining the appearance of our lodge rooms and cabins, lobbies, offices, and other service areas.
Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE

Working Conditions
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.

- Create a clean and healthy environment across all park facilities.
- Turnover rooms and cabins in a timely manner.
- Keep common areas tidy and clean during peak hours.
- Follow departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
- Assist in the laundry department as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
