This position is assigned to the Nursing Services Department as a Unit Clerk and reports directly to the Nurse Manager 1, ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards. In this position, you will be responsible for all areas of mail distribution, supply orders/requisition, maintaining medical records and preparing various patient packets, as well as answering phones and routing messages.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.- Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require successful completion of a medical examination and drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
