This is a great opportunity to work with highly professional educators at the Department of Education.This position is in the Division of Analysis and Financial Reporting, in the Bureau of Special Education. The primary job duties are: prepare, revise, and track contracts and purchase orders; estimate fund expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year; monitor Funds Commitment Contracts; utilize the SAP and COLTS systems to maintain control of expenditures and encumbrances; initiate procurement requests and reviews with the Bureau of Management Services; review telephone invoices; submit requests for telephone inquiries; submit requests for technology hardware inquiries; and, collaborate with the Budget Office, regarding various budget submission documents.
Work hours Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with one hour lunch period.
You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and a bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
