Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is home headquartered in Perry, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Franklin, Adams, York, Lancaster Counties.
- This position will require reporting to 2301 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17710 for non-inspection/office work.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved Veterinary Medical Technology Training program and two (2) years of experience in the raising or handling of animals used for a variety of commercial purposes including food animals and farm animals; or
- A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, Dairy Science, Poultry Science, or a closely related area with at least 16 credits in animal science; or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires current certification as a Poultry Technician or the ability to gain certification during the probationary period.
- This position requires possession of a valid class C driver’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
