 In this position, you will perform a full range of highway equipment and fleet management duties in a County Maintenance Organization including but not limited to analysis, recommendation, and budgeting for equipment and fleet development; coordination of maintenance, repair, and dispatch of equipment and vehicles; overseeing maintenance and repair facilities; and planning and supervision of subordinate workforce.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
• Varied hours may occur for operational needs.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Highway Equipment Manager 1; or
• Three years of experience in the repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel engines and other components of heavy highway maintenance and construction vehicles and equipment including two years of such experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training. 

Conditions of Employment:

• This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent “Class B” or “Class A” with Air Brake Restriction removed.
• This position requires Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tank (N) and Hazmat (H) or Tank/Hazmat (X) endorsements.
• This position requires valid “Class 4” or “Class 7” State Inspection License.
• This position requires one year of experience or training in the repair or maintenance of diesel engines.
