Key Responsibilities of commercial PM
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Participate in project meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Budget Management:
- Monitoring project budgets and financial performance.
- Track expenses, analyze variances, and make recommendations for cost control.
- Quality Control:
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.
- Document Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, contracts, and correspondence.
- Preparation of progress reports and other project-related documentation.
- Safety Compliance:
- Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
Qualifications of project manager
Experience:2 to 5 plus years as PM
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- experience in the commercial construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
