The Program Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Program Management and is responsible for the successful business launch for multiple Ruckus products, driving business functions/verticals to deliver GTM deliverables necessary to have a successful market launch. Specific verticals would be targeted to create and manage a launch plan for new products to align GtM activities and preparation from Product, Marketing, Sales, Supply chain, Engineering, Operations, Support, Services, and IT groups.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

Leads a matrixed, cross-functional team from multiple key business verticals focused on the execution activities to launch new Ruckus products for customer consumption

Assist in defining the business interlock process to integrate the vertical work streams required for a successful go to market strategy for the Ruckus portfolio and for each product within that portfolio. Interlocks include Product Line Management, Sales, Marketing/Communications, Supply Chain, Solutions Engineering, Engineering, Support, Services, Operations, and IT (and others TBD).

Manages the overall corporate launch of assigned products to align with CommScope corporate vision and Ruckus Product Portfolio vision and strategy.

Interlocks with technical program management responsible for individual product launch to incorporate business vertical needs, constraints, and timelines in defining product launches.

Drives metrics definition and capture for measuring business product launch success after product launch to allow for GTM course corrections, sustaining vertical strategies to drive growth, and appropriate timing for product market exit.

Manages the product lifecycle business post-launch to monitor product introduction success using defined metrics.

Identify, monitor, and drive resolution to cross-vertical issues including issues or risks affecting multiple products launching or in sustaining at the same time.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the product management / program management process.

Be the single owner of a product or set of products for business launch; this can consist of products already in launch process or starting from the very beginning.

Work with single points of contact across verticals to drive alignment within their organizations, support for go-to-market, and resolution of cross-functional risks and issues.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

 

Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering, or equivalent work experience and certifications.

4 to 8 years of Program/Project management experience leading cross-functional, matrixed, intra-company or inter-company teams.

Familiarity IT systems required to enable the success of product setup, product management, and solution publication.

Familiarity with product certifications (industry, country, other) and planning for certifications and product launch.

Proven track record managing complex, multi-project programs from business analysis through implementation.

Experience with technical team members, including hardware and software engineering, Information Technology, and systems owners.

Process re-engineering/business analysis experience.

PMP certification desired but not required.

Flexible, self-motivated and goal-oriented approach.

Strong business acumen and customer focus.

Excellent communication skills across business levels and backgrounds.

Strong planning skills.

Proven track record managing complex programs.

Ability to be an advocate for business launch needs to executives and internal stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills to manage self, team members, and program.

Comfortable working to influence stakeholders and team members towards desired result.

Ability to listen and adapt to changing situations and solutions.
