- Recruitment Full life cycle recruitment efforts using CTS ATS, career sites, temporary placement agency and staffing agencies for exempt and non-exempt personnel. Write and place job advertisements, source, pre-screen, interview and conduct reference checks when required, obtain approvals for requisitions, write and present offer letters and packages.
- Employee Engagement With employees located across the country, CTS HR Department is on the front lines of remote employee engagement. You will interact with all levels of the organization from Technicians to VPs, on HR related matters, utilizing the support of the Human Resources Manager when needed.
- Employee Training Initiative Identify and address training needs within the company, to include compliance, EEO & safety training then plan, organize & implement these trainings.
Miscellaneous
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company culture.
- Contribute to existing, and develop new, programs focused on employee relations, wellness, charitable events and other company initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills

- Proven ability to recruit and previous experience running payroll.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
- Able to work in a self-directed manner with minimum supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HR/Labor laws.
- Knowledge of HRIS and Payroll systems, Paylocity preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and maintain effective working relationships.
- HRCI certification or SHRM Human Resources Certification is a plus
Experience 4-6 years of Human Resources or related experience.
Education High School Diploma required, BS Degree preferred.
