Responsibilities
Develop and adapt a disciplined sales process to build and retain profitable, productive relationships in your territory, provide consultative marketing and sales support, and meet or exceed annual sales goals. Be the external face of BPAS in your territory to find, build and nurture partnerships with financial intermediaries to their greatest potential.
- Develop strategies relating to the company's market, products, services, and sales goals
- Work with executives to determine and execute sales plans to meet organizational needs
- Perform mentoring of the sales team
- Track, analyze, and present sales metrics to senior leadership
- Facilitate current client relationships and work to grow new ones
- Analyze market trends and plan sales strategies accordingly
- Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Assist executives with setting annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
- Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
- Reviewing client activity, anticipating client needs, and improving client satisfaction.
- Creating sales reports and giving feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Assist with developing new products and assist with product deployment.
- Identify, develop and cultivate/grow partnership channels
- Identify, develop and grow alternative distribution channels/verticals
- Develop and grow broker distribution channels across 3 tiers, engage partner managers
- Identify acquisition opportunities in the marketplace, facilitate discussion and strategy
- Mentor internal sales professionals/help identify growth opportunities
Qualifications
Vice President of Sales Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a sales leadership position.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
