Title: Education and Training Specialist
Reports to: Director of Care Management

Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO)
governed by Federally Quality Health Centers (FQHCs). Our mission is to leverage the collective
strengths of FQHCs to improve the health and wellness of the people we serve. We are a fast-growing
organization founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of
beneficiaries who receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across
Massachusetts. We are an innovative organization developing new partnerships and programs to
improve the health of members and communities and to strengthen our health center partners.
Job Summary:
The Education and training specialist is an important member of the C3 team and will lead the strategic
development of C3's new office of Education and Trainings.
The person in this role is responsible for the design, development, and execution of training curriculum
to support staff, health centers, vendors, etc. in relation to the operation of C3's ystems and programs
such as the Population Health Platform, Transaction system (SMC), etc.
Responsibilities:
• Work under the direction of the Director of Care Management to identify training needs
• Design curriculum and train on the Arcadia tools including but not limited to care management,
quality, population health management, flexible Services and CP programs
• Develop training material for internal, vendor or client needs
• Interpret, update and refresh training and tools
• Lead training sessions with employees, contractors, health centers and vendor partners to
ensure competency
• Provide education sessions and training for new hires, both internally and externally, and lead
all refresher courses
• Create and develop reports to identify training needs/outcomes
• Assists in all logistics surrounding training programs, ensuring rooms and materials are available
for training sessions
• Comply with all internal policies and procedures and ensure relevant policies and procedures
for relevant programs are appropriately developed, reviewed, updated, approved, and
operationalized internally; make recommendations to Leadership on new policies and
procedures as needed
• Ensure individual compliance with all privacy and security rules and regulations and commit to
the protection of all Company confidential information, including but not limited to, Personal
Health Information
Required Skills:
• Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology particularly as is related to primary care
• Demonstrated experience developing curriculum using the latest technologies and software,
e.g., power point, Visio
• Must have excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
• A minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated training experience
• Experience developing policies/procedures related to education needs
• Knowledge of training methodologies and competency assessment
• Works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with working with multiple cross-functional partners
• Experience with pop health management systems
• Experience with both live (in person) and Virtual Platform Training
Desired Other Skills:
• Monitor effects of training via end user shadowing/rounding
• Support colleagues and end users during project go lives (at the elbow, ATE, support) and
special updates
• Demonstrate knowledge of adult learning and curriculum development in course design and
evaluation strategies
• Familiarity with the MassHealth ACO program
• Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers
• Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred
Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelors in a related field (Healthcare, Education, Systems or Corporate Training)
