Dental Assistant, Part-Time, Day ShiftCommunity Care is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time opportunity at our 3220 W. Vliet Street - Milwaukee County, Milwaukee, WI facility.
Dental Assistant Job Responsibilites:
Act as chair-side assistant for Dentists and Dental Hygienists during dental procedures. Prepares operatory for member treatment as required. Performs independent procedures as delegated and directed by the Dentist.
Develops and processes dental radiographs in accordance with provider orders; assists in the monitoring and maintenance of radiation safety procedures and protocols.
Assist Dental staff in ensuring member records are up-to-date – documentation is completed timely. Maintains member list and monitors member flow.
Prepares, sets up, monitors and maintains dental equipment and areas. Ensures proper sterility of all reusable dental instruments and equipment.
Monitor tasks from PC/Team; maintaining recall; make appointments with members, member’s guardians, group homes; make arrangement for transportation for internal dental appointments; send referrals, authorizations to specialists for member’s care.
Dental Assistant Job Requirements:
· Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
· Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Preferred: Knowledge of electronic appointment scheduling system, dental assistance experience.
Dental Assistant Job Schedule:
· Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
· 32 hours per week
