What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher's Aide position at Community Day Care?

Community Day Care (CDC) is an innovative place where children learn through experiences, mindful conversations, a sense of community and teachers that understand who they are. Together as a staff we strive to live out our mission to educate, guide, and nurture each child while supporting families and creating community.

CDC is hiring part-time teacher’s aids for one of our preschool locations, CDC Forest. CDC staff are energetic and supportive with a goal of providing meaningful and enriching experiences for children ages 2.5-5 years old.

Flexible hours but must be available Monday-Friday. Weekends off.

As a preschool teacher’s aid, you will be responsible for all, but not limited to, the following:

  • Managing the safety of children in program
  • Engaging with children in numerous activities including small group time, large group time, free play, and outside time
  • Adhering to all LARA rules and regulations
  • Cultivating relationships with children and families
  • Working collaboratively with CDC team of staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
