- Works closely with director, coordinators, and technicians to ensure daily tasks and overall direction of the department are being met, inspected, and acted upon quickly and thoroughly
- Oversees, Construction Management, including new construction, internal renovations, and all major capital and/or construction projects within the organization
- Works with direct reports to determine and execute on the most efficient manner to execute on projects, whether that means keeping projects internally or subcontracting and overseeing projects
- Works with various architects, engineers, local authorities and sub-contractors to ensure the highest level of quality craftsmanship throughout each project
- Bidding of projects within approved budget and timeline
- Develop contracts and monitor them to ensure they are aligned with overall budget
- Manage change orders
- Troubleshoots construction and technical problems. Researches and executes solutions
- Ensures construction tasks are done in a timely manner, of quality work, and within budget constraints
- Creates annual operating budget for division and capital budget for division and assisting other divisions on their planned projects
- Ensures invoices are submitted/approved timely
- Negotiates terms and costs with vendors at the onset of projects and regularly thereafter to ensure the company continues to receive favorable terms and rates
- Makes regular site visits to ensure plans are followed and to ensure work is done correctly
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Responsible for ensuring that all training and safety requirements are met
- Keeps track of tools and MSDS inventory and reports

Education: High School Diploma is required, undergraduate degree preferred
Licenses or other required certifications: Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and the ability to maintain active auto insurance.
Experience: Minimum two years construction experience required, 5 years preferred. Demonstrated problem solving and strategic planning skills.

Salary : $73,000
