What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide (HHA) position at Community Health at Home?
This position is designed to keep you close to home. We are looking for coverage in either the Northeast, Eastern or Southern parts of Indianapolis. If you live near either area, we can work with you to keep you as close to home as possible. We also reimburse mileage at 46 cents per mile.
- Observes and utilizes appropriate technique to perform the following personal care functions:
- Shower/Tub/Bath
- Mouth, skin and nail care
- Assists with bedpan, urinal
- Assists client(s) with transfers to wheelchair, chair, range of motion, ambulation and dressing
- Encourages client's self-help with use of special equipment of assists with prescribed exercises.
- Reports changes in body function/client status to supervisor.
- Prepares meals taking into account dietary restrictions and client preferences, feeds or assists as needed, encourages fluid intake as appropriate.
- Performs basic household chores: washes dishes, changes bed linens, makes occupied and unoccupied beds, dusts, mops floors, vacuums, does laundry, disposes of trash.
- Completes and submits all required documentation in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Indianapolis, IN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- CNA or HHA (Preferred)
