Job Duties
The Vice President Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (SCT-CT) will provide business oversight and executive leadership to designated services within the network product-line, including inpatient and outpatient facilities, security, support clinical services; stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, pharmacy, apheresis and infusion therapies, as well as non-clinical support services (search coordinators, financial case management, data and quality management).

This position is responsible for establishing operational standards, and outcomes, as well as ensuring adherence to applicable state / federal law, regulations and accrediting bodies (F.A.C.T. and CIBMTR). This position leads and enables effective coordination and communication between referring, hospitalist, intensivist, and consulting physicians to develop appropriate care management and evidence-based nursing practice within the Oncology product line for all services. The Vice President of SCT-CT will work closely and productively with hospital and regional leaders, network product- line leaders, medical staff, employees, vendors and the public. Serves as a member of the network product-line Executive Leadership Team, in addition to various other standing and ad-hoc leadership meeting forums, committees and project teams.

Develops and articulates a strategic vision for a significant network function, business unit, or region, and influences individual, group, and organizational goals, rewards and systems. Works with senior leadership and other institutions to create and maintain a governance model for a multi-institutional joint venture. Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across multiple areas/disciplines in the solution of highly visible challenges. This positions also serves as the clinical dyad to the Medical Director of SCT-CT.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
  • Master's Degree Nursing, Business, Health Administration or other related field, preferred.
  • Experience relevant to discipline.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of recent or current progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Candidate will have experience and successful track record in operations, including but not limited to refinement and execution of network and regional business plans, line responsibilities for clinical services, regulatory compliance, performance management and relationship building which includes patient, caregivers, physicians, peers, vendors and the public.
  • Extensive background in performance improvement/lean is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive background in oncology, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapy preferred.
