Job Summary
Member of the Field Services Support team providing support for a 24/7 operation. Performs user support functions and supplemental project work during appointed shifts. Creates and ensures standards (SOP) are adhered to and documented so as to standardize support. Should also be prepared to respond to a constantly changing list of priorities with the intent to carry each task to completion. This person must be team and customer service oriented.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide input to the development of applications on technical issues that may result in changes/enhancements to policies and procedures for all CHS systems
- Remote and Deskside incident management
- Hardware / Software deployment and troubleshooting
- General LAN Network troubleshooting
- Avaya Phone and Mobile Devices support
- Performs Deskside functions associated with internal and external customer-based needs
- Records requests in ServiceNow ticketing application
- Performs corrective procedures for prevention or system recovery support
- Employee Onboarding/Offboarding
- GSuite requests including Shared Drive and Group management
- Manages users IDs as necessary, to include the addition of users to individual applications and distribution groups
- Work directly with department leadership to ensure their employees remain productive, even during downtime procedures
- Updates operational procedural documentation as needed to reflect new or modified procedures.
Education and Experience
- An Associate’s Degree or higher in an IT related field or equivalent experience
- Help Desk/Field Service experience doing remote support
- Experience supporting Active Directory for end-users
- Experience supporting GSuite products
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including network, PC, software, and servers
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
