    12 Month Administrative Position - Reginally competitive Salary and Benefits (including Board paid TRS)

    DUTIES AND AUTHORITIES
    Provide leadership in all school building leadership operations related to the instructional program including: curriculum development, research, and assessment; recruitment, appraisal, and retention of teachers; development of the master schedule, implementation of interventions for students not meeting learning standards, selection of texts and materials; and the professional development of the certified staff.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction must have a substantial academic and experiential background that will enable them to support the Building Principal in the role of leading and administering the school. The Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction must at a minimum hold a master’s degree in Education Administration or equivalent, and a valid Illinois GADM or Principal endorsement issued by the State Certification Board.
