Job Title: RN
$10,000 Hot Job Bonus
Responsible and accountable for providing direct age specific patient care to assigned patients or managing a team during an established shift. The Registered Nurse follows the nursing process in the delivery of patient care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of the team approach to patient care. The Registered Nurse provides clinical leadership for other nursing staff as assigned and performs related duties as required. Supervises LVN’s, CNA’s, Unit Secretary, Monitor Technician and other ancillary nursing personnel involved in the delivery of patient care.
Education/Experience: Requires at least 6 months prior RN experience in an acute care hospital. BSN preferred. Must obtain I.V. Certification within 90 days of employment and EKG interpretation, experience in ICU preferred
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Must have current California RN license or Interim Permit. Must possess a current BLS, and ACLS cards.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language. Bilingual skills (Spanish) preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 10 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds, with assistance. Visual and auditory abilities need to be intact to perform duties.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
