Community Options has an exciting opportunity within the Behavioral Health Services department as a Support Specialist. This position works with team members in tandem to ensure clients can meet and overcome barriers to specified goals. The position will assist in reaching goals related to clients care plan including but not limited to employment, tenancy support, and peer supports. The position will also assist with community outreach and engagement. The position will fill in for other positions vacancy as needed.

The salary for this position is $16-$18 an hour depending on experience (DOE).
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Access to working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)
- CPR and First Aid certified, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state and the ability to travel based on operational and clientele needs
- Successfully pass a criminal background check, to include Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
- Completion of training as required by Community Options
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-identify as an individual who has personal lived experience and is willing to publicly identify as an individual in recovery from a mental health disorder, brain injury, substance use disorder, or combination; or is a family member of an individual living with a mental health disorder, substance use disorder, brain injury or combination.
- 2 or more years working directly with clients.
Must possess certain basic skills, including the ability to:

- Work Environment: Employees work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, i.e., office, home, or community setting. Employees are required to operate a motor vehicle and travel as deemed necessary. Assigned work shifts and locations will vary depending on the customers' and/ or agency needs.
