The Digital Producer is responsible for all projects involving the creation of digital media. The Digital Producer will coordinate, supervise, and plan projects involving the creation of digital media. This position collaborates with multiple departments to oversee the design and development of a range of digital campaigns and assets.
The role encompasses everything a project manager would do with the freedom, imagination, and innovation of a creative to bring interactive digital properties to life. Curiosity, emotional intelligence, empathy, resourcefulness, good organizational and creative problem-solving skills are integral to being successful in this role.
The Digital Producer will have to ensure that the work that is being produced is within brand guidelines and has been Quality Assured. You will oversee all projects involving the creation of digital media.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create concepts for new designs, provide cost estimates and quotations, and ensure all content meets requirements.
- You will be in charge of all projects involving the creation of digital media.
- Establish a budget and timeline for each project.
- Track production to ensure projects meet deadlines within budget.
- Oversee the production of digital media including videos, website development, online advertising, product testing and delivery, and email marketing.
- Ensure all clients are updated on the delivery of digital campaigns.
- Prepare accurate status reports.
- Ensure all final products are consistent with Community Vision’s mission.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or relevant field (preferred).
- 5 years project management experience and experience working with digital content; non profit experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of computer software that is related to web design, video editing, and graphic design.
- Familiarity with content strategy and project management methodology.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
MORE ABOUT THE POSITION
The Digital Producer is a full-time exempt position. This position reports to the Director of Communications. The salary for this position is between $70,000 – $87,500 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include: 100% health insurance premium coverage for employees and a contribution towards dependent coverage, dental insurance, long-term disability and life insurance, transportation and cell phone subsidies, employer contributions towards retirement savings, three weeks’ vacation, and a commitment to work/life balance. Occasional evenings and out of area travel may be necessary. The position involves regular computer and telephone use plus some minimal lifting. The position can be based at either of Community Vision’s offices in San Francisco or Oakland. All staff are working remotely until further notice.
