DESCRIPTION
Compadre is seeking a talented and thoughtful Account Director to join our team to foster active client relationships, identify business opportunities within existing accounts, scope & develop proposals for new business, and oversee ongoing agency projectsfrom prospect through delivery. Agency projects primarily include research, strategy, content marketing, brand identity, and social analytics. This position reports to the Head of Business Development.
CLIENT
- Engage core clients daily to drive projects forward and help unearth new ones
- Use your experience and deep understanding of the clients business, including emerging trends, consumer behavior, and the ever-evolving innovation landscape relevant to your clients business, to establish yourself as a thought leader and help set the direction for your accounts
- Identify and help sell through incremental campaign opportunities to clients, that help them achieve the most efficient returns & results on their overall marketing dollars
- Set client expectations of the work, work process, deliverables, and budgets.
- Participate in the development and agreement of measurement/success criteria for campaigns, when applicable, ensuring that objectives and benchmarks are clearly defined.
- Analyze the plan and campaign performance against key success metrics and identify potential next steps.
INTERNAL
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative internal and external relationships
- Manage internal stakeholder expectations for projects, elevate any issues/opportunities so that they can be addressed.
- Collaborate with producers to create project schedules, budgets, and plans
- Help forecast long-term and short-term staffing needs and resources
- Create project proposals for new business
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure Marketing materials are completed and ready to launch when ready
- Demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
ABOUT YOU
- 5 - 7 years comparable experience as an Executive Producer, Account Director, Senior Producer for a production company or agency
- Experience in building strong client relationships that result in excellent work and drive organic growth
- Knowledge of strategy, writing, and live-action and production process for the agencys various assignments
- Ability to write a campaign brief and give strong direction to the creative team.
- Strategic understanding of traditional, digital, and social-specific media planning & buying, along with the proper metrics of success and measurement opportunities
- Experience in effective account housekeeping (timelines and budget development and management)
- Excited by developing innovative solutions to complex problems
- Ability to take initiative, think ahead, anticipate needs, be highly collaborative, work alone and in teams in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, project management, and organization skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Keynote, G-Suite, various CMS platforms.
