Working Arrangement Hybrid Job Description The Opportunity The Configuration Management Analyst will be responsible for keeping the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) clean, accurate, and up to date as the central source of truth for IT data. The CMDB Analyst will manage, monitor, and maintain CMDB health and wellness based on correctness, compliance, completeness, and fullness. This includes managing duplicate, stale, and orphan configuration items (CI’s). The CMDB Analyst will support various IT teams and global segments to improve CI data including classes, naming conventions, attributes, data sources, relationships, and validate data maps. Additional responsibilities enforcing CMDB governance, policy, process and procedures, and training and educating the user community. Responsibilities Oversee the recurring cleanse and maintenance of the CMDB ensuring all duplicates, aged and orphan CIs are managed. Build relationships with internal stakeholders to define and populate business services in CMDB Represent the CMDB team as a point of contact for Configuration Management (CMDB) in Infrastructure (Hardware), Cloud infrastructure, Business Applications (Software) for end-user computing and data centers. Collaborate with global colleagues across segments to ensure the CMDB is complete, current, and accurate Maintain data quality, integrity, and security of CMDB Hours of Operation: EST Time Zone (Night Shift) What motivates you? What we are looking for 2 years hands-on experience and background in ServiceNow CMDB, configuration management and discovery Solid understanding of CMDB concepts Understanding of ITIL, ITAM, and IT Service Management concepts Configuration Management, ITIL, and/or ITAM certification is a plus Proven success managing and supporting a CMDB, preferably ServiceNow In the areas of Configuration Management (CMDB), Automated discovery of Infrastructure devices, standard hardware (servers/laptop), mobile devices, network gear, business applications, software, cloud infrastructure What can we offer you?
