Pay Range
$30. 25 - $44.34/hr

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus! The bonus will be taxed per IRS regulations. Additional relocation bonus may apply based on geographical location. Must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions may apply.
The ICU department at Parker Adventist Hospital is a Specialty Level II Trauma unit and a Cardiac and Stroke Program Center of Excellence with 16 beds. We have a mixed acuity and service medical surgical ICU. The patient mix is mostly medical which covers anything from acute renal failure, sepsis, neuro surgical, trauma, stroke and heart attack patients. Our mission is to provide high quality service and care to our community. This department has a great culture of team work, with room to grow within the department, both personal and professional. After one year, associates can advance their professional certifications with the experience they have gained in our department. Job description:
Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
- ACLS from the American Heart Association required
- TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year of hire
- NIHSS required upon hire or within 1 year of hire
- 2 years RN experience required
- 1 year RN ICU experience required
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to ICU
- Preferred: 3 years of critical care experience, CCRN
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
