Job Summary
Performs a variety of maintenance duties. This is a day shift position with additional on-call hours and rotating weekends.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance. Preferred 2 years in HVAC Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning and changing filters, cleaning and inspecting coils, and condensers
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues, including VAVs, actuators, fans, motors, pumps, and building automation systems, refrigeration
Inspect and maintain building systems, including mechanical piping, electrical, and mechanical systems
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Preferred 2 years in HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, including work on fans, motors, pumps, VAV boxes.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
