Job Summary
Job Summary:
The Training Manager will be responsible for effective coordination and presentation of all employee training initiatives.. This role will be responsible for partnering closely with the Compass One management team and HR generalist to analyze training needs, and execute and facilitate training courses within the Core business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitates training courses and drives participation to achieve compliance goals
• Updates current training materials and supplies to reflect changes in laws, company processes & policies, business needs, etc. as needed
• Assesses sector-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies suitable training solutions for hourly associates
• Utilizes training materials to effectively train associates through a variety of media
• Ensures consistent and effective implementation of learning & development platforms across the organization
• Plans and promotes monthly training curriculum based on departmental needs
• Manages logistics and communications for each training course by acting as an interdepartmental facilitator on the company’s Learning Management System
• Evaluates program effectiveness and makes necessary modifications as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous Training/Organizational Development experience preferred
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to understand and facilitate trainings utilizing a variety of materials: eLearning courses, facilitator guides and participant workbooks
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and meet deadlines on time with limited supervision
• Must be a self-motivated individual who is comfortable speaking in large groups and with all levels of management
• Must have excellent stand–up delivery and facilitation skills that drive key learning outcomes and motivate application beyond the classroom
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Clear understanding of adult learning and the role it plays in facilitating learning
• Must be able to create/adapt customized training/learning programs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
