Summary:
The part-time repair and maintenance technician performs repairs on event and warehouse equipment as needed in a safe and professional manner to ensure that all hard asset inventory is operational for event use.
Essential duties include:
· Performs general repairs to event equipment such as tables, chairs, and inflatable equipment
· Repairs assorted machinery such as generators, inflatable blowers, and concession machines
· Complies with all legal and safety requirements
· Provides input and parts requests to the Warehouse Manager so they ensure parts are ordered and event equipment is repaired in a timely manner

· Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two years of experience in the field of maintenance and repair. Electrical and mechanical skills are preferred.
· Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
· Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of how to search the internet and be able to send and receive emails.
