What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Liason position at Compassion Behavioral Health?
Compassion Behavioral Health is looking for a masters level Clinical Liaison to join our team. The clinical liaison is critical member of the treatment team and works with all members of the team to support the clinical care of all clients. The clinical liaison is responsible for facilitating group therapy on various topics for clients participating in mental health residential level of care. The clinical liaison is also responsible for supporting the clinical team as needed in completing Biopsychosocial Assessments, Safety Plans, Treatment Plans, as well as assisting in absence of primary therapist and with overflow caseload as needed. The clinical liaison is part of the clinical team and expected to aid the clinical team and provide clinical support to colleagues that could include AMA blocking and openly communicating any concerns to the treatment team. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where an individual’s clinical skill set can grow through supervision, a true treatment team environment, and exposure to multiple areas of clinical intervention.
Requirements:
Masters degree required in field of psychology or social work.
Any candidate should have the ability to multi-task as well as strong time management skills to complete tasks within expected time frames. They should also have a passion for and dedication to assisting clients with mental health disorders as well as co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
Familiarity with the following group areas: CBT, Relapse Prevention, Life Skills, Creative Expression, Psychosocial, Experiential Groups, Process Groups are preferred.
Experience with KIPU a plus
Level II background screening is required for this position
Schedule:
Either: Friday through Monday 9am to 7pm OR Thursday through Monday 9am to 5pm
Salary : $45 - $55
