Competitive Range Solutions, LLC (CRS) is seeking a seasoned business operations executive that can work shoulder-to-shoulder alongside the CEO and CFO; leading the firm through exciting operational challenges resulting from both high operational tempo and growth.
CRS provides the U.S. Government essential management and technology consulting services. CRS has come to be a trusted mission partner to the DoD that is relied upon to plan, deploy, and manage complex, IT-enabled and mission essential capabilities. Responsibility of the COO include, but are not limited to, organizational executive leadership; oversight of all the firm’s awarded programs, analysis, and compliance management; program and process analysis; business development; overall business operations, corporate strategy development and execution.
Because the firm’s capability concentration is heavily aligned in support of the (Department of Defense (DoD) Information Network/ Defense Information System Network (DODIN/DISN); familiarity with DODIN/DISN is important.
*Signing bonus eligibility (below) predicated on candidate possessing exceptional recent and relevant experience leading and managing large, complex Defense programs. Specifically, managing customer-facing program and technical complexity related to DODIN/DISN technology refresh and implementation initiatives.

- Proven ability to motivate and develop the skills and abilities of large diverse teams successfully.
- Proven ability to motivate and incentivize workforce adoption of new best practices, processes, tools, tactics, and techniques.
- Proven ability to motivate and incentivize workforce adoption of new organizational and key project controls.
- Proven ability to develop and deploy performance recognition and incentive programs leading to improved morale, welfare, and organizational citizenship across the firm.
- Proven ability to facilitate employee-centric resolution of workforce related conflicts, hardships, and performance improvement.
Required Management Experience:
- Proven ability to manage large diverse teams successfully leveraging right-sized tools, performance metrics, and reporting.
- Proven ability to develop and scale operational (people, process, schedule, risk management) efficiency between stages of growth (small to large business) leveraging proven best practices, processes, tools, tactics, and techniques.
- Proven ability to apply advanced quantitative reasoning skills. Specifically, developing and managing project controls, including but not limited to management and tracking of complex capital resource utilization.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree (or equivalent experience) with a major in any of the following fields: business, law, contracts,organizational development or management is required.
