FULL TIME MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST
IN OFFICE POSITION
We have a full-time MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST opportunity available for interested candidates who are looking to pursue a career in medical billing. Zion Eye Institute has three locations in the Southern Utah area. We were named Best Ophthalmologist practice in Southern Utah in 2022. Our MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALISTS are responsible for conducting revenue cycle management duties with patience, positivity, and productivity.
This is a TEAM role that will need your patience, high levels of communication and integrity
A successful candidate for MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST has the following:
- A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
- Sufficient experience in medical billing and/or coding
- Experience with multiple insurances- including private, commercial, managed and MediCaid.
- A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment (experience in optometry preferred)
- Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
- Able to remain focused and organized
- Ability obtain sufficient references and background check to perform the duties of the position.
- An interest in self education and career growth. This is not a job; it is a healthcare career.
