What are we looking for in a Network Services Manager?
The Network Services Manager in the Information Services department is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining Comprehensive Healthcare’s network infrastructure. In service of this goal the Network Services Manager designs, configures, and maintains network infrastructure components and identifies, locates, and resolves network and system problems. The Network Services Manager is also responsible for network management and maintenance projects from planning and design to development and implementation. In addition to hands-on work, the Network Services Manager also supervises and directs approximately 3-5 members of our Information Services team. This is an on-site position located on our Yakima campus. Although most work will be done during normal Monday-Friday day shift hours, occasional night and weekend hours or travel to other campuses within our organization may be necessary. To be successful in this role, the Network Services Manager must have significant networking experience and be aware of the unique technological needs of a multi-site healthcare organization.
Network Services Manager duties may include:
- designing, implementing, and managing enterprise servers (physical and virtual), shared storage, security protocols, remote access, network switching & routing, disaster recovery, and physical datacenters
- managing complex Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL, RDS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS, WDS, and NAP
- monitoring the health, performance, and resources of datacenters, network, and applications
- developing technical, system, and operational standards and documentation for enterprise datacenter, network infrastructure, and IS disaster recovery
- providing direction, coaching, supervision, and support to assigned staff and participating in the interview & selection process for new staff
- developing and monitoring the team budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or related field
- Seven years of relevant experience, with an emphasis on Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and Cisco solutions
- Previous experience within the healthcare field preferred
