What are the responsibilities and job description for the SQL Developer position at Compri Consulting?
Sr Software Engineer (Database & Data Access Layer)
This position focuses extensively on SQL Server and the data access layer, but a successful candidate should be comfortable working in the full stack as needed.
What we are looking for:
- Very strong in all aspects of SQL Server 2019 (SSMS, stored procedures, SQL agent jobs, indexing for performance, data schema design and development, data warehousing, 4.2b row tables, SSRS, SSIS (simple integration packages, not very complex), light DBA abilities are a plus.
- Comfortable with writing and maintaining a data access layer in C# - both directly via Stored Procedures, and via Entity Framework.
- Strong SQL Server skills, including table design and advanced stored procedure development, data warehousing, SQL jobs and database tuning.
- Experience working with datasets that exceed 300 million rows.
- Familiarity with the consumption and presentation of API data
Experience breakdown:
- 7 years T-SQL
- 4 years C#
- 1 years .NET 6
- Experience working with telematics, CAN bus, or other complex data
- Data integration applications experience
- SSRS and SSIS experience
