Technical Analyst / System Analyst

Description:

CompuGain is looking for an IT Analyst III to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.

Job Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
- Create and design various business specification documentation including user stories, process flows, business requirements and other information or processes needed to describe the operational objectives & requirements
- Create and design technical specification documentation including detailed technical process flows, technical requirements, traceability matrix for releases and other information needed to describe required system changes for development, QA, and other units
- Create presentations, user guides, job aids and hold brown bag sessions for projects
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised application
- Develop queries and analyze data to produce reports

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. Other related advanced degree preferred
- 5-7 years experience required
- Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Basic SQL knowledge to run queries for reporting
- Tableau or other reporting tool experience is a plus
- IAM/Authentication/Authorization experience is a plus
- Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
- Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
