Position Summary:
This position implements the CompuGroup Laboratory system for our small to midsize, new and existing client base. This position will be responsible for working with the client to determine their configuration needs, build the databases, implement the lab system and train the clients on how to effectively utilize the system.
Job Duties:
Manages assigned projects and installations through completion
Document client issues, questions, and resolutions in the knowledge base software
Provides complex application support and guidance to end users
Assist in preparing all technical design documents and ensure effective implementation of all products and plan all activities
Education & Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Healthcare and 1 year related work experience OR
Associate’s degree in information technology and 3 years related work experience
Training experience preferred
Excellent Windows knowledge, including XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Server grade operating systems
Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software and networking concepts
Experience with project management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Understanding of Clinical Laboratory practices
Software training and helpdesk support experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills verbally and written
