Roles and Responsibilities:
The Change Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the proper release and update of engineering data through change management best practices. This role involves coordinating the approval and implementation of enterprise changes, providing engineering support, and interfacing with users of marketing and engineering data. The Change Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage product improvement and cost reduction projects for globally sourced products.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support technical data changes through the Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Work with engineering leadership, consulting engineers, project engineers, marketing, production, quality, purchasing, and vendors.
Apply engineering principles to components and systems, including design, bill of materials, 3D computer modeling, assembly, analysis, and documentation.
Provide programming logic for bill of material generation through a configurator application.
Create and revise engineering documentation, construct assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components, and conduct quality testing.
Support projects and teams related to Engineering Systems applications.
Manage shifting priorities with multi-tasking skills and flexibility.

Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools, Pro-E/CREO, PDMLink, and configured products.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and implement projects to detailed timelines and budgets.
Familiarity with the most current Product Lifecycle Management systems and methods, CAD systems and tools, project management, content management systems, and the communication and interaction between IT systems.
General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing policies and operations, including production control, quality control, electrical product, or industrial engineering.
Familiarity with common manufacturing processes such as casting, 3D models, patterns, machining, and stamping.
Technical competency in areas relating to motors, drives, pumping technology, electronic controls, business values, and project management.
Demonstrated ability to solve difficult problems with an understanding of engineering standards, principles, and theories.
Excellent collaborative interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface and communicate well with stakeholders.
Willingness to direct and receive direction from others.
Good multi-tasking skills and flexibility to shifting priorities.
Ability to understand business processes and use information system tools to map and integrate them into an effective process.
Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a product, project, or support engineer role.
Experience with valves, pumps, electric motors, and other electro-mechanical products.
