Job Title: Maintenance Engineer I
Location: Davie, FL 33314
Duration: 6 Months Contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
What You’ll Do:
- Be the go-to expert for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Handle automation and PLC programming, and tackle routine and complex problems.
- Execute planned maintenance, manage corrective work orders, and drive small-scale projects for equipment upgrades and facility modifications.
- Support and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring effective problem-solving and adherence to safety protocols.
- Update technical documentation and implement best practices for a safe and efficient work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience or an Associate Degree with 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility (pharmaceutical industry experience preferred).
- 1-3 years of hands-on automation experience and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- PLC programming skills are a plus; Six Sigma Green Belt and project management experience are advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot SCADA systems, and lead maintenance teams effectively.
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Regularly stand, walk, and use fine motor skills.
- Frequently bend, twist, and reach.
- Occasionally climb, crawl, push, and lift up to 50 lbs. (assistance available).
- Work in environments with moving parts, noise, and varying conditions.
