CEI is looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to join our financial client's team! In this role, you'll serve as an Azure SME by applying broad technical skills, with deep industry knowledge and business acumen.

Overview:

• Design and implement advanced functions of Office 365 and/or Azure
• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers)
• Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs
• Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, etc
• Configure and manage customer Azure cloud environment
• Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud
• Implement CI/CD based application development methodology using tools like Jenkins/TFS/PowerShell

Qualifications:

• Practical experience in the Administration and Implementation of both Unix and Linux operating systems (RedHat/Oracle) as well as Terraform and Ansible scripting
• Experienced in multiple Data Center technologies (Networking, Security, Servers (Web, Application, Database, Middleware, etc.) that are critical to our client's systems required
• Experience working with all major ITIL processes, including Change Management, Service Request, etc. required
• Experience with CI/CD toolsets including version control systems (preferably Git), development and maintenance of pipelines (Azure DevOps or Jenkins)
• Experience with IT industry best-practices related to infrastructure management and administration required

Education/Experience:

• 10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required

On-site Requirement:

• This role is primarily remote! Our client is looking for someone who will be able to come on-site as needed for meetings, etc

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $83.00 - $93.00 per hour
