What are the responsibilities and job description for the STEM Teacher position at COMPUTER EXPLORERS?
COMPUTER EXPLORERS is looking for enthusiastic and energetic teachers to teach our exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) classes to preschool and elementary students Hinds, Rankin and Madison County areas. COMPUTER EXPLORERS has been teaching students in the metro area for over 28 years and is looking to grow our staff.
This is an exempt, part-time teaching position.
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Teach classes with children ages 3-12 using Technology and STEM activities. (Training Provided)
- Flexible work schedule 3-15 hours per week between the hours of 8:00-4:00 (3-5 class days per week).
During the school year, classes are taught weekly, between the hours of 8:00-4:00. Summer camps are taught weekly, Mon. through Thurs., from 8:30-4:00.

Technology Teacher Requirements:
- A passion for working with children is a must!
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Be available 3-5 days each week for teaching.
- Reliable personal transportation required (you must own a car).
- Must pass Mississippi State background check.
- Must be comfortable with technology and learning curriculum.
- Outgoing personality and dynamic teaching skills.
- Able to work independently and communicate with management via email on a regular basis.
- Some lifting and moving of equipment required. Rolling carry bags and luggage carts provided.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
