JOB SUMMARY

Solutions Consultants collaborate with the Sales team through the sales life cycle, leveraging industry expertise and product knowledge by participating in RFP completion, product demos, diagnostic interviews, and CSI product consultation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts product presentations/demonstrations of CSI products and solutions to prospective customers
  • Maintains and updates presentations/demonstrations to best represent products/services
  • Researches, reviews, and answers RFP questions and ensures the abilities of CSI products are fully and thoughtfully explained.
  • Continuous learning of CSI products/services.
  • Performs proper record keeping in CRM to show support activities and work associated with a particular customer.
  • Performs diagnostic reviews with prospective customers to best understand how to propose solutions to best solve their problems.
  • Collaborates in a team environment with other solutions consultants.
  • Preforms other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING

  • The prospective client has a clear understanding of CSI products and solutions and how the products can benefit their institutions.
  • An up to date, working demo environment.
  • Healthy and collaborative relationships with team members and others across CSI.
  • Continuous learning of CSI products/services
  • Proper record keeping in CRM, to show support activities and work associated with a particular customer.
  • Assist the sales team to exceed their annual sales targets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certifications:

Education or job knowledge equivalent to college or university undergraduate education.

Experience:

The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least five (5) years.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

This position requires regular contact both inside and outside the company at all organizational levels, and involves considerable tact, discretion, persuasion, and negotiation in order to obtain willing action and consent.

DECISION MAKING

This position requires frequent decision making and the ability to plan and perform unusual or difficult work with general operation methods/procedures.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Full Direction. Participates in determining objectives and approach to assignments. Plans, schedules, and arranges own activity. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Travel: Extensive travel required (50% ).

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, lift or move up to 10 pounds, and travel by ground or vehicle. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and the basic need to look at a computer screen throughout the day.
