Security Specialist/Administrator 2 (ALEN-CGAEF7)

The candidate’s responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Work with the onsite CPSO to ensure proper execution of the physical security plan, including access control, maintaining a security facility, assisting with developing and implementing the SOP, and document control.
• Ensure all documentation is on file and accounted for within the Program.
• Become an expert on the Program’s security structure, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure you provide prompt and professional security support and assistance.
• Anticipate requirements and lead with recommended solutions.
• Understand the roles and tasks of the customers and associated team members.
• Set standards and demonstrate a positive attitude daily.
• Understand the Corporate philosophy of being an Honest Broker and Trusted Partner.
• Ensure a firm understanding of both ADCON/OPCON and ensure precise communication with both corporate and customer leadership.
• Be responsive to changing priorities and situations.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Requires office, administrative and organizational skills; and requires intermediate computer skills and experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Products, and Adobe Reader.

Experience:

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of three (3) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments.

Degree:

AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business related field required. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.

Training/Certifications:

Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, and Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication.

Travel:

Infrequent

Minimum Clearance:

Applicants are required to have, at a minimum, a TOP SECRET (TS) clearances with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
