The Air Mobility Command (AMC), Surgeon General, Medical Information Technology (IT), Network & Desktop Support Services (DSS) seeks deployment, training, information assurance, ad hoc enhancement support, integration, and support requiring staffing and technical expertise that meets the HQ AMC/Surgeon General (SG) and base Communications Squadron (CS) needs. The program’s AE Electronic Health Record (AE EHR) and Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) requires services and software updates for devices in sustainment of the AE EHR and AHLTA-T CCATT Modules and requires on-site Medical IT Network and Desktop Support Services for HQ AMC/SG and the 375 MDG at Scott Air Force Base, IL.
CWS is seeking an onsite Web Services Administrator at Scott Air Force Base, IL to provide web-based services for COTS and locally developed SharePoint sites and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) applications. The Administrator will provide SharePoint, web applications and data modeling support as well as provide the development and ongoing support of the web collaboration services.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Possess a solid understanding of data modeling, object-oriented programming best practices, workflows, web part development, and demonstrate proficiency.
Manage end user account permissions and access rights according to IAW AFI 17-130 Cybersecurity Program Management.
Perform full life cycle management including requirements, design, and documentation, coding, and testing of new or existing software.
Provide software application training for Government and contractor key technical personnel, functional help desk personnel, trainers, testers, and others as designated by the COR for each release provide a Training Conduct Support Document (TCSD)/Training Lesson (TL).
Demonstrate that the software is integrated into the intended system configuration and provide an Interface Requirements Specification (IRS), Interface Design Description (IDD), and Software Design Description (SDD) with initial software design.
Define and recommend system enhancements and solutions; review schedules and make recommendations to the COR; and recommend COTS or custom solutions to satisfy user requirements.
Provide web-based tools that integrate internet, intranet, content management, and document management.
Plan, operate, maintain, administer, and optimize multiple web- based service environments.
Maintain, administer, install, and configure enterprise servers and farms.
Perform disaster recovery through backup and restoration and support analyses of various replication tools. The contractor shall plan, operate, maintain, administer, and optimize the replication tools and replication plans between geographically diverse user locations with occasional or limited network connectivity.
Provide support to COTS and locally developed applications, troubleshooting custom deployments, applications, and server performance issues.
Support enterprise infrastructure with deployment, maintenance, health, and performance monitoring. The contractor shall implement best practices, communicate best use scenarios and recommendations, and plan for future installations based on the evolution of web-based service software and related products.
Develop, configure, and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, and site collections as needed.
Develop and distribute training material on efficient and effective tool/application use and provide training to users with varying levels of skill.
Resolve user issues with web-based services. Provide common end-user support, including setting up document libraries, setting up custom lists, and setup of library templates, permissions, web part configuration, and workflows.
Maintain security administration through monitoring and administering Database Management System (DBMS) security constraints, such as removing users, administering quotas, auditing, and checking for security problems. Analyze data stored in databases and make recommendations to the COR relating to performance, efficiency, and protection of data.
Customize applications and software for clients, collaborate with a cross section of stakeholders to understand user requirements for flexibility, and adapt tool configuration locally as changes in priority or business need dictate.
Support web design architecture, administration, development, project management, and business analysis and develop multiple application and software platforms.
Perform administration functions, including deploying code solutions, server optimization, server management, term store maintenance, taxonomy, content deployment, web and service applications, content management, and basic site administration.
Possess experience with SharePoint search, SharePoint Designer, customization using master pages, page layouts, web parts and create simple to complex lists, views, and library configurations.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree. Experience and commercial certifications in related field can substitute for formal education
5 years of experience in functional area
Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience
Preferred experience and/or familiarity with:
Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL
Object Oriented Design and Development
HTML/CSS and XML/XSD
Producing GUI mock-ups
Relevant commercial certifications are desired
Remain current and certified in DOD 857001-M qualifications
Active Secret Clearance granted by The Department of Defense (DoD)
US Citizen or permanent resident
Other (Travel, Work Environment, Administrative Notes, etc.)
Might be required to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by the COR
