A Role You Will Love

The Business Analyst is responsible for the collection, documentation and analysis of business requirements to support new client implementations, solution enhancements and strategic projects. This position will work closely with Solution Consultants, Project Management, Developers, Operations and Clients.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis and definition of project implementation requirements.
  • Analysis of documents, data files, data mapping and design reviews.
  • Creates Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents.
  • Creates user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
  • Creates data mapping documents.
  • Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
  • Interaction with technical teams implementing the solutions to ensure the delivered outcome meets customer requirements and expectations

What Will You Bring to The Role?

The Business Analyst must have experience in reading and interpreting various data file types (XML, fixed width, structured data, CSV, tab delimited, etc.) and the corresponding data layouts. The ideal candidate has a passion for identifying and determining solutions to business problems for complex business and software projects.

Other education and key skills required for the role include:

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage and/or loan servicing industry (3 years' experience).
  • 3 Years in IT as a Business Analyst
  • Computer skills needed: MS Office Suite, including Visio, SharePoint
  • Ability to create mapping documents.
  • Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile
  • Proficient in data analysis
  • Team player and self-starter with excellent communication, coordination, documentation, project planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills and a logic-based approach to problem solving
  • Experience with communication template management and composition applications.
  • Experience in system development component, business process improvement, strategic planning
  • Experience in creating Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents
  • Experience in creating user stories with use case and acceptance criteria
  • Experience in manual and automated testing environment
