ComResource is looking for a Continuous Improvement Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Process Improvement and collaborating with team members throughout the rest of the organization, the CI Consultant is responsible for owning high impact projects to solve the largest challenges the healthcare industry faces today. Examples of these challenging issues include the global supply chain disruption that is causing delays in the products to repair critical medical equipment, invoice/credit issue resolution processes, and coordinating efforts during future company acquisitions.
The CI Consultant will shadow stakeholders from multiple companies to learn the entire procure to pay process, along with our suppliers and our customers procure to pay processes. Understanding how our products fit into our partner’s processes will be necessary to understand how to incorporate software integrations and reengineer business processes to provide solutions to optimize the procurement process for all parties involved.
The CI Consultant will identify opportunities for improvement, define the metrics to measure the potential impact, communicate the findings to C-Suite Executives, and ultimately follow through with the plan to implement the solution. Within those projects the responsibility includes managing requirements, scope, project updates, schedule/plan, quality, resources, and budget.
The role requires the ability to autonomously work from home on multiple projects simultaneously, communicate with external customers and vendors, and work collaboratively with internal c-suite executives and their team members.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct communication/status to clients at the Executive and Director level of major health systems, clinical service organizations, or the manufacturers of medical devices (PowerPoint)
- Ability to document current state and suggest optimized future state (Visio & Excel)
- Draft work instructions for process changes (Word & Outlook)
- Define project governance and manage training, Go-Live, cutover, and transition to department management
- Develop project specific Statements of Work for IT (Word & Confluence)
- Ensure proper project alignment, compliance, and visibility both internally and externally
- Influence internal and external leaders to balance competing priorities
- Establish project goals, budgets, and forecasts
- Lead project and program activities to ensure effective scope, acceptable timing, maximum benefit, and quality delivery
- Oversee the implementation and execution of all projects and process changes ensuring they are delivered according to agreed upon requirements
- Develop implementation strategies including, staffing, databases, appropriate technology tools, etc.
- Establish and facilitate cross functional teams as needed to engage in process design

- Ability to understand the subtleties and complexities of pushing an agenda in highly performing organizations
- 4 years’ experience with process engineering and process mapping
- Knowledge of the procure-to-pay / order-to-cash lifecycle is a plus
- 4 years’ experience leading business-related projects
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Formal training in process engineering. LEAN Six Sigma Certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Formal training in project management. PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant business experience
